RACE TO LIVE
Race to Live is our Fall philanthropy that benefits Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. It is a 5k that starts and ends at the Zeta Tau Alpha house and runs around FSU's campus. This past year we held our 21th annual Race to Live, where we accomplished our goal of 1600+ runners and raising over $70,000. It’s great to see the outcome of our chapter's hard work, dedication, and effort to make sure this race is successful. The day of the race is the most rewarding, and it is an exciting day filled with food, live music, and dancing! We get to watch our dreams become reality and see just how great our philanthropy is and how much people truly care about finding a cure to Breast Cancer. This past year we received The Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation award which is a very prestiguous award attained by raising an incredible amount of money to go towards Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. We are determined to Find A Cure!

Crown Classic is our Spring philanthropy that also supports Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. This is a two-day 7vs7 flag football tournament for boys. It is an entire weekend of football games going on as the teams in the tournament play against each other in hopes of making it to the gold or silver championship game. When a team wins or loses, they fall into another bracket, where they will play another team. It continues until there are two teams left to establish a winner in each bracket. While all the guys are playing their football games, our whole chapter is out on the fields cheering on and watching them play. Our chapter's spirit and enthusiam is what helps keep the boys going. Crown Classic 2014 completely exceeded our numbers from the previous year. We had 100 teams participating in the tournament and we raised a total of $20,589.25! We are incredibly proud and ecstatic that we were able to be a part of such an amazing event which helped raise money to help find a cure for Breast Cancer.
